Just before noon, Troopers and Central Emergency Services extricated a 31-year-old Soldotna woman from a vehicle which slid off the road at the intersection of National Avenue and Mackey Lake Road. Kate Sutton escaped with minor injuries, a 10-month-old baby in the car was uninjured. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, brake slowly, and take some time to examine current road conditions.
